Project Description
As part of extensive maintenance and upgrade work on the hydraulic system of a modern tugboat, our company undertook the complete overhaul of the hydraulic manifolds controlling the operation of its main winches. This is a critical system on which the safe and reliable operation of the equipment depends during demanding maritime operations, where precision and immediate response are essential.
The process began with the complete dismantling of the manifolds and a detailed inspection of all hydraulic and electrohydraulic components. This was followed by thorough cleaning of the manifold bodies, inspection of the sealing surfaces and internal oil passages, and evaluation of every individual component in accordance with the required technical specifications.
Where necessary, solenoid valves, cartridge valves and other components were replaced, ensuring the complete restoration of the system’s functionality. Following completion of the overhaul, the manifolds were reassembled with absolute precision, the necessary adjustments were made and extensive operational tests were performed before their final installation on board the vessel.
Commissioning confirmed the system’s smooth and reliable performance, ensuring high levels of safety, operational reliability and long-term availability.
