Engineering & Installation of a Hydraulic Oil Cooling System for Steering and Anchoring Units

For this project, we undertook the engineering, construction and installation of hydraulic oil cooling systems for the steering and anchor hydraulic power units of a high-speed passenger vessel. The solution was designed according to the installation requirements, ensuring effective heat dissipation, stable operation and increased reliability of these critical hydraulic systems, even under the most demanding operating conditions.

Περιγραφή έργου

The continuous and reliable operation of the hydraulic systems on a high-speed passenger vessel requires effective hydraulic oil temperature control, even under particularly demanding operating conditions. For this project, we undertook the engineering, design, construction and installation of complete cooling systems for the vessel’s steering and anchor hydraulic power units. The solution was developed entirely according to the installation requirements and included the selection and integration of heat exchangers, circulation pumps, electrical automation panels, control systems and all necessary hydraulic connections. All required electrical and mechanical installation work was also carried out, along with system configuration for fully automatic operation. Following completion, operational tests and performance checks confirmed the consistent control of the hydraulic oil temperature and the optimal operation of the units. The project was completed successfully, increasing the reliability and service life of the equipment, as well as the operational availability of the vessel’s critical hydraulic systems.
